Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC) is making headlines for its impressive daily output of 200,000 meals on average.

"Providing on average 200,000 meals from more than 70 international cuisines, QACC has played an instrumental role in the Group's consistent international recognition - most notably earning the prestigious titles of 'Global Best Food & Beverage' in the 2024 APEX Awards and 'Best In-flight Food & Beverage' in the 2023 Business Traveller Awards," said a report.

This catering powerhouse not only caters to Qatar Airways but also services several other global airlines which are operating from Doha.

Established in 2002 at Doha International Airport, QACC has since grown to occupy a massive 69,000 square meter facility at Hamad International Airport (HIA), making it the world's largest single-building airline catering unit.

In addition to its operational achievements, QACC is dedicated to environmental sustainability and social responsibility. The company donated over 110,000 portions of dry foods and condiments, along with more than 75,000 blankets and duvets to communities in need worldwide. Furthermore, their commitment to reducing waste led to the recycling of over 3,000 tonnes of solid waste in 2023/24, not only minimizing landfill contributions but also generating revenue through the sale of recycled materials.
